9 For, I think, God has exhibited us apostles last of all, as men ^acondemned to death; because we ^bhave become a spectacle to the world, ^{▼▼ Or and to angels and to men}both to angels and to men. 10 We are ^dfools for Christ’s sake, but ^eyou are prudent in Christ; ^fwe are weak, but you are strong; you are distinguished, but we are without honor. 11 To this present hour we are both ^ghungry and thirsty, and are poorly clothed, and are roughly treated, and are homeless; 12 and we toil, ^hworking with our own hands; when we are ⁱreviled, we bless; when we are ^jpersecuted, we endure; 13 when we are slandered, we try to ^{▼▼ Or console}conciliate; we have ^lbecome as the scum of the world, the dregs of all things, even until now.
